My Approach

It is astonishing how elements which seem insoluable become soluable when someone hears; how confusions which seem irremediable turn into relatively clear flowing streams when one is understood.
— Carl Rogers

I am primarily an experiential and process-oriented therapist, although I draw on many tools and techniques based on your needs, including evidence based practices (DBT, CBT, ACT) and mindfulness. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all type of therapy; Instead, I believe it is most effective when client and therapist can be their authentic selves and share both common and different understandings of their experience. My goal is to understand you and your world so that I may support you in uncovering more choice and movement in your life. Therapy is a creative and collaborative endeavor and I strive to bring presence, authenticity, and awareness to every session.
